This person must possess the ability to speak to a large number of Team Members who are spread throughout the world in a manner that is effective for their learning styles. Content vehicles include wrtiten training materials, videos, e-learning, and social media. Key Performance Elements/Essential Functions Create and develop written materials that speak to the multiple layers of generations in our workforceDevelop new learning vehicles that match technology upgradesBuild and maintain our content distribution network utilizing various methods of social media channels such as monitor channels, upload content, manage dialog, etc.Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content Participate in social mediaOptimizing tags, on our feeds, sharing sites like YouTube/Flickr and search engines through copywriting, creative & keyword optimization & buzz pocket miningPartner with peers, field training, other departments, and vendors to ensure training programs align with corporate agenda and goals Advise Training and Communications Team Members in building the right instructional design for a training solution, based on the initial and on-going need assessmentsKeeps current with industry best practices, blended learning resources, and benchmarked solutions related to the design & development of training content; Applies new and innovative ways to design and develop training content to field audienceCommunicates effectively with supervisor, peers and direct reports; Communicates appropriately with internal and external business entities within Chili's/OTB/Brinker Education/Training: 4 year degree or 3-5 years experience in a related field preferred1-3 yrs in corporate training organization preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Able to organize complex projects and implement plans for accomplishing challenging objectivesAble to provide design & development strategies supporting hard-copy and web-based materials including documentation, presentations, procedures, reference materials, activities, courses, workshops and assessments.Excels at research, possesses excellent writing skillsHas work experience or training in advertising, PR, online marketing, training or similar field is preferredProficient with Microsoft Office products.Experience in blogging, sourcing and managing content development and publishing Ability to jump from the creative side of training to analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound Discretion to identify threats and opportunities in user generated content Understands social media universe including YouTube, StumbleUpon, Delicious, Digg, Reddit, Flickr, Forums, Twitter, Wikis, blogs, etc. Possesses functional knowledge or some experience with HTML/CSS Knowledge of search engine optimization-think including basic keyword research.Drives/owns successful working relationships with multiple levels and functionalities of the organization If you're a professional who delivers on your promises - and promises to add value to every action you take; if you value diversity in people and their perspectives; and challenge yourself with worthwhile risks, then discover a fresh new way to think about business and your career with Brinker International.
